I'm listening to this sermon 8 months afterwards. I'm struggling so hard with my faith. I'm even trying to fast for a friend, but without faith it's in vain and God hates that! I'm trying to hold onto His promises but it's not working. Why, why does God want us to ask over and over and over again until we're blue in the face or we cry out in desperation. Why? Like He knows how much I'm struggling, He knows I'm trying to pray for a friend, I get why He doesn't help because Hes building our faith but I can't please Him at all without faith! 😭 I'm struggling so badly. Please please pray for me

18:33 The arrogant, cocky jerk “bypasses” the safeguards in a woman’s mind and heart that would otherwise make him unattractive to her. He’s handsome, says all the right things at the right time and of course, makes her laugh. Because the safeguards were subversively bypassed, this fast tracks things to get him what he really wants. She gets involved with him in a relationship and for awhile things go well but then she starts to see who he really is and either makes it work or does the smart thing and leaves him. Her leaving can either take years or maybe a few weeks but it’s up to her.

I really appreciate when pastors deliver concise messages that get to the heart of the matter quickly. It helps me stay engaged and better absorb the message. While I prefer when pastors are concise, I understand that some take longer to get to the point because they are passionate and want to share as much insight as possible. It’s clear they have good intentions and are dedicated to their congregation.

I hope I will be able to forgive the people that hurt me and release that sinful anger inside me

I was that guy in the city and still recount being in that lifestyle man I had to learn the hard way but advice I would tell others is seek the Lord everything the temporary fun pleasure feels good for a moment but it’s not fulfilling focus on your God given purpose and don’t get caught up with things in the world. The devil will lie to you it looks fun buts it’s all empty the only one who bring real fulfillment joy purpose is the Lord

Crazy this came on my feed as I used to work in the nightclubs BC and I can remember attest to everything you said in the clubs and whole vibe set up when I was at that age but man all the stories leaving or getting in drunk friends car to not being at home some of my friends didn’t make it caught up in gangs other stuff the women and how lost ppl are guys and girls go there to fill a empty void at that age it was new and enticing but looking at it now all of it was a waste of time I went through that and trust me it was all vanity most of everything there is a facade
